Some of my good friends are in a blue grass band called the Sonset Band. They needed some pictures for their new website and some promo stuff so Sunday we did some pictures for them after their rehearsal. There are 8 members in the band so the biggest challenge was going to be lighting them all evenly. I found a great spot by the lake where the "sunset" would be behind them and started setting up.
Their lead singer is the only girl in the group so I put up a beauty dish to light her, then used a 50" umbrella to camera left to light some of the guys and a 28" softbox on the other side for the rest of the group.
