2009 World-Wide Photo Walk

I participated in the World-Wide Photo Walk today. My walk was in Dunedin, FL. Here are some of my favorite pictures from the day:





This was probably my favorite picture. Kathleen was resting in front of a gas station after a long day. I asked her if I could take her picture and she said sure. She said it had been many years ago, but she used to be a model. Neat lady.

Photo Shoot for James Tealy

I did a photo shoot for Singer/Songwriter, and my good friend, James Tealy last Friday in Orlando. We had a great time searching for interesting places to shoot and got some really great frames. For most of the shots I used a single SB800 in a 28” Westcott Apollo softbox. That softbox is awesome! Here are some of my favorites. Be sure to click on a picture to view it larger.

Cheryl & Lester

I had a wonderful time at Cheryl and Lester’s wedding on Saturday. Their story is so great! It was a beautiful wedding at Morrison Methodist Church in Leesburg and the reception was at the Savannah Center in The Villages. I haven’t had much time to go through images, but I thought I’d show you my favorite from the evening. I knew it would be my favorite as soon as I pressed the shutter. I had a really good time today with a great bunch of kids at the Villages Public Library. We talked about gear, looked at pictures, and then even gave away a little digital camera. Maybe one of these young ones will become a great photographer one day!


Other News:

1. I’m shooting a wedding on Saturday in Leesburg and the reception will be at the Savannah Center in The Villages.

2. I have three meetings with potential brides coming up this next week.

3. Pablo & Katjia’s GrapiStudio album shipped today so I should see it next week sometime. I’ll do a review of the book and their services shortly after.

4. Ben Rogers and I have started getting together every week or so to take some Strobist type pictures. I’ll post some over at Flickr.
