Today is Brooke's 30th birthday. She is the love of my life, and I am so thankful for her and how she loves and supports me. We spent yesterday at Universal Studios and had a hotel in Orlando last night while Brooke's mom stayed at home with both kids. It was the first night we have had to ourselves in over 3 years, and yet Brooke agreed to let me take the time to make some night-time portraits of her in Orlando. She was very patient and only got a little scared whenever people would walk by us. Anyway, here's my favorite:

For those of you who care, here's how I made this frame:
I used the 70-200mm lens at 170mm. Shot in manual mode at f/2.8 and 1/30th of a second. ISO was at 500. Had one SB800 shooting through an umbrella directly in front of Brooke in manual at 1/32 power. I forgot my tripod at home (of course) which is the only thing I would have changed. Even with the VR activated on my lens, the shot would have been a bit sharper if I wasn't hand-holding it.
