This morning we woke up very early and made it out to the beach before the sun came up. I set up two strobes on stands and two Lastolite Tri-Grip Diffusers on two other stands. I set my main light up about 6 feet away from my subject at a 45° angle to camera right and the other right beside me to camera left minus 2 stops for fill. I fired the strobes using the
SU800.
As soon as the sun showed itself, I started shooting away. Here's two of my favorite shots:


We had a lot of fun and then had the whole day ahead of us. Of course we crashed in the afternoon from lack of oxygen to the brain!
